Actual Weight and Volumetric Weight

For some routes, both the actual weight and volumetric weight of the parcel will be considered, and the freight will be charged based on the greater of the two.

What is Actual Weight?

Actual weight refers to the weight of the product itself plus the weight of the packaging materials used for the product.

What is Volumetric Weight?

Volumetric weight is a method used in the transportation industry to calculate the weight of light cargo. This method is applied when the volume of the package is large but the actual weight is small.

How to Calculate Volumetric Weight?

Volumetric weight (KG) = (package length (CM) × width (CM) × height (CM)) / 5000 (or 6000, 7000, 8000 according to the standards of third-party logistics providers).

Does My Parcel Qualify for Volumetric Weight?

If you want to determine whether your parcel will be calculated by volumetric weight before submitting it, please check through the Shipping Fee Estimation tool.
(Reminder: The Shipping Fee Estimation is for reference only; the actual charges are subject to the warehouse packing.)
